The Star Bhai Fellowship will offer participants the chance to engage with Indo-Caribbean professionals through a series of interactive, immersive learning workshops (virtual and in-person). Workshops will focus on important life skills such as resumé building, mental health and wellness, career development, and pathways to higher education. Our mission is to provide participants with the tools that they need to recognize and develop their full potential.
The goal is to ensure young men and boys who are Indo-Caribbean realize and develop their full potential whilst meeting new friends and building community.
Workshops are 1.5-2 hours in length and will be held on the fourth Sunday of every month. Each workshop will be led by one or two facilitators that will inspire and motivate attendees through group discussions, brainstorming sessions, breakout groups, and interactive activities.
Ideal candidates are an individual from the Indo-Caribbean community in Canada, who identifies as male, between the ages of 12-21, and is keen on self and professional development, and learning more about the Indo-Caribbean community.
