Dhal and Rice Food Drive
Donate and make a difference. Support Indo-Caribbean individuals and families all year round. We are collecting culturally appropriate non-perishable food products for food banks in the Greater Toronto Area that serve Caribbean communities.
As active members of our community, we are deeply concerned with the rising cost of groceries and the increasing number of families that rely on food banks regularly. Food insecurity is increasing with 1 in 7 Canadians using food banks. This is why we are hosting this food drive to ensure that ingredients commonly used by Indo-Caribbean households are made available in food banks in the city.
