Share Yuh RICE... donate non-perishable Caribbean food items and support food bank clients.

Food insecurity continues to rise. More individuals and families are turning to food banks for support. As a community, we should be ready to support each other. The Indo-Caribbean Canadian Association is proud to launch our very own revived food drive - Share Yuh RICE (Raising Indo-Caribbean Essentials).

We encourage our community to give back and contribute by donating non-perishable Caribbean food products. Donated items can be conveniently submitted at one of five permanent donation locations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

All food products will be transferred to local food banks that serve Caribbean clients.

Don’t have time to make a physical contribution? We can do the shopping for you! Please make any direct monetary contributions by EMT to finance@indocaribcdn.com and indicate it’s for the food drive. Our volunteers will purchase products on your behalf, and we will deliver them to a local food bank.

 

We appreciate all contributions; however, we ask that you DO NOT submit EXPIRED food items. If you would not consume a product, it is also not acceptable for another person.
